We are excited to announce that KONGSTEIN is expanding into to the Southern hemisphere!

Australia is one of the renewables markets with a great potential for developing floating and bottom-fixed offshore wind projects as well as the production and export of green hydrogen. As it is forming to be a major market for offshore wind developers, KONGSTEIN is already set to support the Australian market thanks to its long expertise in supporting developers in the industry as well as drawing on the teams’ versatility and offices in Norway, Germany, The Netherlands and Denmark.

Under the management of our colleague Kevin Kilian, KONGSTEIN’s Sydney office will be the centre from which the global team will be supporting the Australian market and all the APAC region. It will be focusing on management consultancy, market insights, technical concepts and analysis, project management, tender & bid management.

In addition to leading the Sydney office, Kevin has experience as a project and installation engineer in the tender-, construction- and O&M-phase of offshore windfarms. His project assignments included the foundation installation package management for European utilities and offshore wind farms in the Baltic and North Sea from tendering till contract closure. Furthermore, Kevin performed several studies of B2B-markets including the development of strategic recommendations for companies considering entering the European offshore wind market, assessments of green hydrogen transport concepts as well as CO2 emission assessments.
