We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Floating Wind Project Engineer to support our growing Floating Wind Team.


About the Role

As part of a multidisciplinary project team, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks and responsibilities in international projects of varying complexity and scale. These may include:

  • Conducting market and industry research to stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in the floating wind sector.

  • Analyzing and interpreting data from various sources, including financial, market, and technical data, to inform strategic decision-making.

  • Scouting for Port and Fabrication Yard and studies across the globe.

  • Developing Transport, Assembly and Installation Strategies.

  • Assessing the feasibility and profitability of potential floating wind projects.

  • Assisting with the development of business cases, financial models, and schedules to support investment decisions.

  • Participating in the preparation of proposals and pitches to potential clients and partners.

  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers, regulators, and industry partners.

  • Writing high quality studies and reports for internal and external audiences.

  • Modelling, Budgeting and Strategy.

  • Designing holistic techno-economic optimization of floaters.

  • Writing Studies and reports.


About You

  • Masters or Diploma degree(s) Offshore Engineering, Naval Architecture, Renewable Energies, or a related field of Engineering.

  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.

  • Working experience in floating offshore wind is highly appreciated.

  • Knowledge and understanding of wind turbine technology and offshore wind farm design.

  • Understanding of foundation assembly and Turbine Integration.

  • Experience with Station Keeping Systems.

  • Experience with running schedules, cost estimates and weather downtime estimates in an advantage.

  • Able to effectively prioritize multiple tasks and make independent decisions that align with and advance the company’s goals and objectives.

  • An agile mindset and proactive working attitude, along with strong analytical, creative, and problem-solving skills.

  • Great skills in self-organization, self-reliance, reliability, persistence, and organizational skills.

  • Strong communication skills and teamwork, as well as a confident appearance.

  • Exceptional Report Writing skills.

  • High level of proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages such as German, Norwegian, Dutch, Spanish, Italian, French or Portuguese are an advantage.
